Talking Show me some colors!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi there!! i've been a memeber for a while here, but this is my first thread

well, i'm a fender fan but I'm kind of sick of the color which most basses come, like sunburst, black, red and white, I know those colors are good but, what happened to all those colors like graffiti yellow, surf green, sonic blue etc ?

i'm from Chile and when i bought my first fender bass it was the last one remaining all over the country (it was an signature bass) and it was BLACK (s#!t!!)
so I painted it orange (yes, I painted a brand new bass )
and here it is!

(sorry for the bad quality photos, I had to use my phone's camera)

now i'm planning to paint another bass and I may need some inspiration, so, show me some colors!
Thanks!!!

well it's obvious you like orange, so why not put a little fire into it?

Good job making it your own! Some models of Fender come in a variety of colors, but I get disappointed that others, like the five-string MIM J bass or the VM and CV Squiers, will only come in one or two colors each. I suppose it's just the economics of mass marketing. I think if I pulled the trigger on one I'd need to refinish it to a greenburst or something like that.

yes, it's a shame! but the good thing about re-paint is to know that your bass is more unique.
