on ibanez's new line, the SR700 and 750 are nice standard models. the Prestige 4000e and 5000e are up scale versions of those. and ibanez made there neck-tru basses a completely new line called the SRT's. my personal favorite is the SRT800DX only because it's as close as you can get to the SR1000EFM Prestige they sold 3 years ago for their 20th anniversary of the SR line.

ya same here. Id love an SR1000efm prestige but seeing as they were an anniversary special, they are extremely hard to find. the only one i know near me, the owner wont sell despite not being a bassist and that i would pay list price for it. so I'm just gonna buy one of the new SRT's and mod it with new hardware and bartolini's instead of those awful emgs

The blue moon flat SR1000EFM is so rare now I can't even find pics of it anymore. Wish I could have gotten one.

I have that one. Nice bass. Playability is great. Tone could be better.

My old SR 5-string I had (W/amber fin) had that style jack placement - back about 6 years ago - I wish I kept her!

Really? The output jack placements in a great spot IMO. The chord doesn't get under foot nearly as much as it does with the jack on the side of the body. IMO/IME with them of course.
