I'm thinking of building a bass with a graphite neck. I used to own a parts bass with a Moses neck. I sold it to a close friend who still owns it but won't sell it back to me. So I'm going to build a better one. I'm interested to see some ideas other people/builders have had. Thanks

That's cool. Not something I would personally own, but I can appreciate the coolness.

My ex-Zon. Best sounding bass I think I've ever heard outside of my Warwick Streamer, but just couldn't get along with the super thin neck.

@ darthplagis, I love the Roman numerals, definitely something to consider for my neck.

@ mmbongo, My Moses neck was a Jazz profile but got super thin towards the the heel. I liked it, something you can't do with wood, it did take me some getting used to.

I used to own this one. I had a Moses neck shaped exactly like the original...

Here's my old bass. Warmoth body, Bartolini's, Moses neck. Bought it for $400, played it for a while sold it for $400. Now I'm going to build a new one.

My opinion only. Pay the extra $ for a Status or Modulus neck. It's worth it.
