I am gassing hard for another Mockingbird. I have checked out the few in the BC Rich Club thread but surely there are more and new editions to be shared. I am trying to decide on something used or going for a custom order. So I would like to see some MOCKS!

I'm a huge fan of the Mockingbird! Maybe one day I'll go out and get one, although I think it'll be the guitar version.

Mock! Yeah!
Ing! Yeah!
Bird! Yeah!

I've always wanted to try a Mockingbird. The double-split has always intruiged me.

My well-(ab)used BC Rico Mockingbird (70s neck-through import). Supposedly, only about 150 BC Ricos were made.

Also my '82 BC Rich Eagle.

I usually don't like pointy designs, but I've always thought the Mockingbird was pretty cool looking. I would love to play one some time, but so far haven't gotten the chance.

BTW, does everyone know that John, the poster right above, was the guy who designed this bass?

EDIT i'm not normally one for pointy-metal basses, but Mocks just have a nice old school charm... *checks bank balance*

Yeah I find myself shopping daily for another Mock. I did pickup the new Masterpiece Mock in Dagondblood. What a killer bass for the price! Best part is it's an archtop! To John I thank you for designing the sexiest bass ever made IMO. The Mockingbird. Now if I can just find the ever elusive Acrylic Mock! My dream bass...currently anyway.

EEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW PIONTY BASSES! Actually, of the pointy basses I hate those the least. Whatever floats your boat, right?
