Agreed. I love daydreaming by looking at other's reality.

It's also nice to see the less lavish bass spaces as well. Seeing what others are doing with what they have. Definitely enjoy this thread and would like to see take back off.

Cool! My bass room was just finished this week.

Actually bass room and bass office! My wife isn't pleased that basses (music gear in general, but 95% bass) have taken over 550-600 square feet of my house.

i will post a few pics tomorrow.

Lol nice!!! I have been graciously allotted a 6.5' x 14' room in our house (which is our semi office too) to put some of my gear in. (until I get the time and resources to complete a section of my unfinished basement to be my band jam room). Hoping to get some wall hangers sometime soon and get some pictures up.

It hasn't been that long ago since I posted mine, but to keep the enthusiasm up, here it is again. Nothing fancy, but it's my man cave.

I also keep a bass and an Ampeg BA-12 by my desk in the den.

Some current photos of my constantly evolving Bass/Guitar room.

And because I'm Spector's Official Photographer, some of these basses are just "passing through" as they get their photos taken.

Done to cheer up my buddy Chris who is a bassist and is fighting Leukemia.

I had a music room until our daughter came along almost 15 years ago. Now my amp, cabs and most instruments are in the closet until gig time. I practice in my room with my Michael Kelly acoustic. At least I have my good stereo and LPs, CDs in the bedroom still. Maybe someday I'll get the other bedroom back.

My office and studio are finally done!

I spend a lot of time in my office as I work from home and also tend to learn new tunes here....

My office:

My 17 year old moved into the basement when our new baby forced him out of his upstairs room. We built him a bedroom and a full bathroom/shower. Gave me an excuse to make a nice studio/practice area. He is a drummer, so he is also stoked! Hard to see the basses on the side walls, but I am mainly gigging these 2 lately... A MTD 535 and Spector Forte 5.

Basement studio:

Lots of work and $$$, but both turned out great IMO.

[IMG][/IMG]

looking towards the north wall, where the beer fridge, ac and recording desk is

[IMG][/IMG]

we have the drummer walled off so we don't have to see him
actually we were tracking drums that day for a new song

looking southeast , i was tracking accent parts to the same song as above

what it looked like the day before we set up for recording

old pic before we did the junk blowout, doesn't show all my stuff

The before times , with our old guitar player/singer Daylan, the guy in the middle

old lineup playing during rehearsal

my Guitars (minus 2 out for repair and one in the house to play rocksmith with)as of yesterday, the furnace to the right is waiting to be installed

the new lights we got for christmas, good as place as any to keep em

We call it the temple of the daze, the motto is , "its 4:19, Got a minute?"

May not be as fancy as some of the rooms shown , but its the bands slice of heaven and 10 steps behind my house, we have heat, an alarm system , AC, and video surveillance, I have too much invested in the place to have some crackhead kick the door in and run off

TalkBass needs to add a "Like" or Thumbs Up feature to the forums. There are so many drool-worthy pictures in this thread.

Personally, I have an immediate need to begin hanging my instruments on the wall. I have a rack/stand for 7 instruments but now I'm up to 10. I had always planned to hang them on the wall but kept putting it off. I guess it's finally time to get off my lazy a$$ and finally do it.

Funny, living as close as I do to the San Andreas fault, I would never consider hanging my basses on the wall as some of you have.

That's how I hang my bass. Our practice room is my kids room. My 15 year old plays drums, and my 13 year old plays guitar (I think he has perfect pitch).

It only made sense to put my stuff in there too.
