Here's the bass just after I got done polishing, but prior to assembly


The most likely configuration when I get the pickguard finished.


And as it is at the moment with it's Foundation sibling.

this is just an off the wall SR5 but I've not seen but one or two in this particular burst... pardon my dorky smile!

hard to tell but it is very metallic red. I think they call it Burnt Apple. I have it written down somewhere.

Either way I enjoy it

In some lighting it might look like a traditional burst, but it's not quite standard...





It's more amber and burgundy blend.

Tonight would have been a good night to be me...ms. Skies and I made it to and from the NY State Fair with all our limbs and sanity intact, got take out BBQ from the 'best BBQ joint in the country', and now I'm chillin' and playin' some more.

Really though, when I was seventeen I had only owned a total of one basses, even though I had played for a few years by then. And while I gigged occasionally, REAL gigging didn't happen until college...and then that prolonged college for a few years.
