So I was at ACE hardware today looking for grommets and black shoe polish to start a belt project when I came across this lighter. It was in the shape of a guitar but it had a british flag painted on it. This made me think....

We've all seen the nautral finishes...

We've all seen the plain finishes...

but what about designs? Flames, skuls, flags, whatever you decided would look good on a bass. Stickers don't count.

I don't have one, but I knew a guy who owned a car wrap store and I talked to him about doing a wrap for my bass. My plan was to get a wrap and then but a clear coat over it. But he wanted around $500 bucks for it.
I just couldn't convince myself to do it

I know what you mean about cost. I want to get a 70's squier in Oly white with a black p-gaurd and drizzle blood red paint all over it, but spending tha much on bass just so I can have the look isn't worth it IMO... at least not until I'm filthy stinkin rich.

Was done by me on my porch, cost about $20 in spray on lacquer, sandpaper, and masking tape.
