The one on the left is brand new and her sister (1yr old) to the right. I've posted elsewhere so I don't want to wear out my welcome :-)

Recently got this Fender American Special FSR hand-stained honeyburst Precision. Did a few cosmetic mods (new RW fingerboard neck, vintage reverse tuners, now has a tort guard - not pictured) to personalize it. These are killer basses for the money.

I don't buy many basses, but a few weeks ago I succumbed to this Bacchus BJB-98:

Is that right? It cost you $90? In any case, very nice.

So is this for people who have a brand-new (as in first owner ever, not "lightly-used" or "mint-condition" bass)?

Just pieced this together. MIJ 98 neck and a 02 MIJ body.
I'm not a flashy kinda guy - but this one grew on me.

nice! 60's spacing and stack knobs with a 70's neck. I'm not a jazz guy, but that's the best of both worlds, IMO.

I found this on ebay not too long ago, sold a coupla things, called the seller and made a off-site deal. It's an Ibanez '77 silver series fretless precision. Weight is under 8 lbs. I still haven't played it yet, but I've been gassing for a maple board fretless precision, and I got this for less than 30% of a vintage fender.

I might switch the pickguard to tort and add a bridge cover.
