Anyone else? | I use D'Addario nickel roundwounds, 40-95. Though all of my RAs are fretted and only have a single mag pickup. |

Sound alot different than it would with the stock strings? Does anyone have rounds on a fretted Mouse? Not what I'm after but would like to know if it's possible.

Anyone else? | I use the Rotosound RS88 nylon tapewound set on my Deep 4 (and did on my old one as well), and have the RS77LE (50 - 110) on my Solid 4. Rob shipped them to me that way since we talked about that early on. |

Ordered a Acoustic Image Coda R Series II from a Talk Basser that just arrived.
Have only had a chance to test it on my Squier Jbass as my Mouse is not ready yet (I'm hoping to get word from Rob any day now)
Impressively clean sound and the built in high pass filter is a plus

What kind of Pickup is he using on this instrument?

That's Rob's own Solid 4 pickup. I have it on all my RA basses, even the non-Solid 4. He wound each to fit the character of my MB-2 and Deep 4.

The TI's are great. I had a set on my Mouse for the last 4 or 5 years. I am trying the D'Addario tapes (medium scale set is required) now. I never really bonded with the LaBella or Rotosound tapes. The LaBellas were too twangy (although I could make them work with EQ) and the Rotos were too blurry for me. So far the D'Addarios seem promising. |

I bought a Takamine B10 and La Bella's were clacky on that too. I plan to put DB/EUB strings on it. It'll be my 'woody' mid-focussed URB clone. I sent an email to Bob Golliher today for his thoughts. Suggestions welcome.
