Dude just posted some pics of his nearly pristine '69 Jazz, and it got me to thinking-how many of you out there have nitro finished vintage basses that have actually been kept up and pampered all these years?

Not actually a nitro finish, it's base/clear like they still use, but it's got not much wear.

It's in incredible shape. A few dings here and there (some scratches on the pickguard from when he put a sticker there). The neck is straighter than any neck I've ever seen.  |
