my '99 MIM Fender V is a very nice player! solid B-string and low, fast action. i had to take the Dremel to the HMB saddles and grind down the string grooves abit, but it was better than spending money!

FSR Jazz

my '03 FSR Mexi Jazz bass..natural ash body. I put in a set of Custom Shop '60s pups and the thing absolutely sings, I love it to death. Beats out my stingray in terms of overall playtime at almost 1/3 its cost.

Crazy nice woodgrain!

Here's mine. Destined to become a fretless, although it plays great as-is.

My pair of MIM 5 string Jazz basses. Both have 5-inline tuners and stock pickups. Strings - one has Chromes flats and one has Pressure wounds. Got'm off Craig's List for $280 (with nice Fender gig bag) and $300 (with hard shell case).
They sound and play just fine.

A couple of aftermarket mods, but underneath, she’s all MIM.

A lot of little modifications, but the basis as an early nineties Mexi Jazz, from the one-piece pickguard years.

I play the heck out of it.

I've never seen one of these before. I love that extra fret on the G. Can you post more pix of this?
