This is streching a bit, I know, but the body is a '75 Precision and it has a P-pickup (only reversed). Doublejazz as a bridge PU and an Allparts Telecaster neck.

Some more from the archives!

Charvel Model 3Bs (I think that's the right model no.). Neck through construction. I Sheehanized the black one with a DiMarzio Will Power Neck and Middle pickup set.

Finding these photos reminds me that I need to spend some time to dig up all the digital photos I have of past treasures...

Found another... Brand new Fender American Hot Rodded P-Bass, Orange with Rosewood. Purchased new at a Guitar Center "List Sale" for something like $400 (there used to be some amazing bargains during the GC List Sales).

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with a pewter Squier P-Bass Special! Too bad you're "probably" selling it. Either way, I hope it finds a good home. Cheers!

This started life as a Lotus P/J - I defretted it and did a complete refin with multiple coats of tinted lacquer, as well as replacing the hardware and installing Fender black nylon tapewounds.

Is that a double split pickup in the middle? How does that puppy sound?

MIM Fender P with '73 P pickup & bridge & Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound J pickup. Also, added pickup selector switch & body has no finish - just covered it with clear boot polish (makes bass incredibly light & u really hear the tone of the wood great on this one).

Original owner did horrible job routing bridge pickup, so my tech cut a sort of pickguard from some tortoise material to match regular pickguard & cover ugly hole left by original route.

This one started its existence as a
"Bud Light True Music" logo body. Had it done in a rarely seen ( on a fender P )
Silverburst with added band logo. When the band goes sour, as all eventually do, it will become a piece of art that I'll keep forever. Built it mostly just for grins anyway.

Here's a picture of my PJ and my all time favourite bass. I just put some new pickups in it. It now sports a D. Allen precision pickup and a Lindy Fralin lateral humbucker wound 5% over at the bridge.

I think this is my favorite setup, I need to find a 5'er with narrow spacing, around 17.5mm and I'll be set.

Here is my crappy $60 pawn shop hohner. Neck was cracked and warped so I pulled off the board, straitened it and epoxied it back on. My daughter did the mod podge camo today. Still a crappy bass but I don't have to baby it like I baby my lakland JClick image for larger version
