I usually can't stand that kind of pickguard, but I must admit, that bass looks cool.

Here's my 60 P.

Before - I think this was in 1974.

After 35 years of actual road wear.

1982 Steinberger serial # 340. Was my main workhorse bass from 1982-89, tons of gigs.

67 lefty P bass bought new in 72. It's been thru over 40 years of carefully applied relic work. Many hours were spent
in smokey bars, greasy dives, and basements and
warehouses to apply the authentic "road worn" patina!

hard to photo miles of checking on white, but it's there

nicotine queen, used to be white.

this bass had a rough life, no finish left on it.

a very old reissue with lots of checking dings and arm wear.

This is 90% bedroom/casual jam wear, with a few gigs, but it took me 34 years to achieve it.

I don't remember how the tuning key got bent.

Not much of a relic, but here's my '75 A-necked P I bought new in '77.
