My '74 FG looked like this when I got it in the early 80s, except after gigging with it into the 90s I wore the paint off the pickups.







About 5 years ago I decided to restore it.











Now it looks like this, except I took the cover back off and put it in a drawer somewhere.

2007 4003 body, Hipshot chrome brass bridge and tuners, custom black pickguard, Audere Classic preamp, 7.3k toaster neck PU, late 60s/early 70s 7.6k high gain bridge PU. Probably as close as you can get to the vintage Squire/McCarthy sound without a real horseshoe pickup.
