I know I want to give it a transparent finish seeing as it's going to be made of swamp ash, I just don't know what color yet. I'm having difficulty finding much in the way of transparent finishes and since I know how much Tb'ers like to show off their buys and builds, show them if you've got them!
tl;dr need help deciding on which trans finish, show yours. |

The green may or may not work for you, but a simple oil stain on ash looks and feels great.

I need better pics, but I used dark grain filler & finished it with nitro lacquer- vintage blonde (very thin) with a pearly/white halo on the edges. |

I was thinking about going the staining route too, but I'm not sure on how difficult it would be to work with the wood and how it would absorb the stain. It can't be too difficult can it? |
