View this link and see how cool this bass is and for the price...

Im going to get it, its great for a practice bass and for an on the go gig that has quality of any bass with the value as well.

It is designed for lightweight travel and great for any bassist.

I think it is a great concept and I love the design and idea.

What do you think of it??

I have 2, 5 string fretted and fretless. Only one thing I don't like about them. They sound so good, I wanna play them out! They are well thought out and can be setup well, except for intonation. Except don't pay $179. I got mine from Victor Litz for around $130.

It also comes with a gig bag, strap and cable. If you need a hardshell case it fits into a gun case.

I've played a couple of these, and been really tempted. I don't need a travel bass, but it sounds so good, that I'd find reasons to travel with a bass.

They are great little basses when ease of movement is involved. I only paid $125 for mine, so $179 seems a bit much. I've actually played mine out on a few tunes, and it's sounds surprisingly good.

The angle of the string going over the bridge looks a little extreme to me (90 degree bend). Anyone had any problems with breaking strings?

Cool idea, though I'd want mind in a 6-string, so I'd have to turn to Carvin and build my own.

I loved the idea of it, and the place i am going to get mine only offered 179.99 but i dont mind paying the 40 extra dollars.

I know it will take a little bit getting used to but it just seems so cool.

Its one of those basses you either love, or hate.

From what ive heard, it has great tone and sound quality and not a lot of issues with it.

If they were $150 or less for the 5 fretless, I might be more interested. I can have two fretless 5'ers from Rondo for $260

I played one a few months ago and was tempted to buy it used for $129. It was surprisingly easy to get used to and sounded very growly and punchy... that's a good thing in my book. But then I wasn't too fond of the bridge and the fact that it was a 5ver so I passed.

You were just the one willing to pay the most. That doesn't sound like winning to me.
