Single H Option for the Carvin SB Series?

Sign in to disble this ad
Now that the 19mm SR5 has fizzled, I think a great budget alternative would be to get Carvin to offer the SB4000/5000 with a single humbucker option located i the sweet spot. The SB series already is available in many options including the J/MM pickup configuration. A single H SB5000 could provide a very reasonably priced alternative for lover of the MM sound. I know many feel Carvin humbuckers are bland, but this bass would be ideal for aftermarket electronics upgrades.

What do guys think?

It's not something I would be interested in. If I order a brand new bass I don't want to have to change the pickups and pre out in them from the get go.

The SB's have got a great thing going for them with the J99's.

I personally would LOVE it if they would do a HH option on the SB.
I, for one, think that the Carvin pickups are great.
