So i bought my first bass

A Vorson VB-30 for $230 (Really cheap for my country)

Its passive, has individual saddles for bridge (though pretty poorly designed as to replace strings you have to pull the saddle back, then put the new string in and re-intonate it. HASSLE)

Its made of Elm Wood with a Veneer Flame maple top.
2 Soap bar pickups, not much variety in sound but they sound very clear so i'm not complaining (yet).

Truss rod is just floating loose in there so its causing a lot of buzz, probably has some high frets too but no sharp fret edges.
also some serious neck dive but its not a problem when holding the neck as its pretty light-weight, and neck doesnt dive with strap on.

So other than needing to set it up (which i will do myself, since they supplied all the needed allen keys in the box)
I think its pretty good.

Though lets see how i like it after a proper set up and past the honeymoon stage.

Yes, welcome to TB.

Why does clicking the thumbnails redirect me to a hardcore porn site? Is this one of those posts that needs reporting?

Pretty cool looking bass, the individual saddle/bridge reminds me of some Ibanezes. Enjoy!

Am i going crazy?
Having a few second thoughts about this.
The string spacing at the bridge is a bit wider between A and D than ED and DG.
And i'm going super OCD over this.

i've looked at the models on the site and it looks like they are all this way, does it matter?
