Uhm...maybe...'cause they're not available outside US?

You think we like playing "poop brown" basses or smth? It's just that all those cool looking models (except for a few Japan releases) are US only...I said this before: sometimes I feel like moving there just to be able to buy some of those Ibbys...pfff

Poop brown is basically all we get now too. If you look at the Ibanez US site now, our choices are brown or red. That's about it. On a couple of models you have black as an option.

I've seen some blue basses in their line up in the past, but they never seem to stick around long.

Well, you have the 75X, which is prolly the only current SR that looks cool with that finish color combo. Then you have the 40XQM models, and the red & white 305s and the 37X models. And on top of that, those 25X Ibbys that - IMO - look very cool with that black hardware and they're cheap enough to get both of them and mod 'em Plus whatever GC decides to order from Ibanez

Here we can only get the 30X iron pewter, the 50X models in poop brown, the 60X - natural finish only (no WF, pfff) and the trans black 705. No fretless models.

You know, sometimes I think the guy running Ibanez now is a guitarist: "dude, you're a bass player so ppl won't look at you during a show anyway; just stick to your poop brown bass and suck it up" lol

BTW the SR500QM isn't available in the states either. I dunno where they sell em.

EDIT: NVM, I see them at GC. Are they a GC exclusive?

I've been looking for a (used) SR750 for some time now. These are hard to come by. Might have to get a new one. Does anyone have a 750? How do you like yours?

You're right, they're very hard to come by used. I got the SR755, and I love it.

Does anyone know the string spacing on the SR750? Is it the same as the SR500.

Guitar Center Seattle had two of these back in August. One 5-string and one 4-string. they both looked rad. In person, that finish almost looks like actual fire. I haven't looked at the Ibanez site for awhile, but when I first saw them I checked the site and they weren't on there. I'm assuming they must be a limited run or an exclusive.
