Pretty close to the same. They just don't round the edges of the bolt on bodies (Legend or US, the ReBops seem to be the exception) as much as the neck throughs.

actually looking at the Spector site it looks like a NS-2C you can tell by the square bottom of the fretboard

NS-2C™
Bolt-on neck
Perl dot neck
Flat body, similar shape to NS-Bass™

Stop showing that Samick, its givin me G.A.S. for a sunburst one to go with my blue and red ones!! I know, leave it to me to collect all the weird Spectors
By the way, that blue fretless has got to be an Ns2B or Ns2C thats been radically modded....very cool though!

The bridge is the same as the black ones you find on the current models. Just gold.
wasnt the old ones basswood body and the new one maple?

Are you saying the USA Bolt-ons don't have the rounded edges?
Here is my USA Bolt-on NS-2J... Looks pretty round... My Legend isn't as round, though.

This is in my neck of the woods, and I am going to check it out tomorrow. I really can't afford it, but at that price I can't afford not to, at least, check it out. Now I know most of you would call it an act of vandelism but if I am lucky enough to buy this, the first thing that's happening is a refinish

What are you thinking in terms of a new finish? Good luck!

Sherwood green metallic or Sonic blue. I am lucky that there is a fellow close by that can do factory style finishing. Chris Bavaria. He worked for PRS for many years before opening his own small shop.

U know, I make that same pact with my wife at least a couple of times a year, but something always goes wrong on my end, then I am in the doghouse for a while. Only good thing is my doghouse has basses in it

a couple of years ago when I did the legends in my Elementary music classroom I had 4 legends, one of them was a Bubinga 4 string. I would play that bass all the time, played and sounded great and I too was surprised by the quality of the bass.

You know what they say, there are no weird Spectors, just weird owners...Just kidding, LOL

I think these are cool, I would own one in a second, and by the way, weird Spectors have a name already, they call them "Streamers".

The 4 string Legend the school had was a (as far as I could tell) solid body made of bubinga. Looked to be one piece, not any kind of top on it.
