Getting my third Spector Euro435LX in May.... Just started playing Spector a couple months ago. I love em. I bought two right off the bat from Spector and now I have to have a third. I'll be buying a forth bass towards the end of the year. I love them too much perhaps!

The Spector bug is a tough one to shake! As most people in this club will say, you can never have to many spectors.
Got any pics of the family?

I've got DR Sunbeams on one and the Spector Nickel rounds on the other. Not a big fan of crisp treble and these strings both break in nicely losing that over-crispness you get with new strings, and last seemingly forever in the state they are currently in, as long as I wipe them down every so often to clean the gunk from the windings.

I've got some of the Dunlop RT strings - although its only because I got them at GC for like $8 a set for a 5 string.

It was actually a stupid reason I think. On the flyers we passed out we wrote " Fill this place with blood".....Our band was into heavy music at the time....ooh well. The place actually closed like 2 months later.

I just finished an intense battle between the Ampeg SVT2 pro and the Thunderfunk 550b with a Tech21 sans amp pedal. the Thunderfunk won in my opinion. The Svt has a very, very slight edge on the growl but the Thunderfunk with the pedal had more punch and clarity on the notes....both played through a Bergantino NV425....Also one weighs 15.5lbs and the other 70 lbs.....Guitar Center will be getting back the SVT soon.

Man, I love your attack. You have a really great fingerstyle tone.

The SVT2-Pro is a hefty piece indeed but I love its thunder. Well, at least you found something that works for you

Thanks bro. I am now starting to actually get a lot more comfortable and have a bit more confidence with playing. Still light years to go though...
