That's right, you know him. Is he a tall dude? The reason I ask is that Rex body looks tiny compared to him which gives the impression he is a really tall guy. 6? Good for him.
I didn't ask how many of those he got but they're factory for sure and he said "they sound clearer and are brighter"
well the damn thing didnt sell on ebay. i have a friend who is interested in it and will know by this weekend. so if not, it will go on to the beg, barter, or trade on facebook
Love the ARC6. It's got the same tonal sound, the crunchy sound of the Les Paul, but is lighter with the curved body.
The neck fits into the body a nice place so wrist strain is minimal. The neck is more profiled like a Strat (older vintage with some beef but not the thicker profile of the Les Paul).
In all the ARC6-Pro and ARC6-Pro Trem are great guitars for the money and if you ever decide to upgrade them, drop in different pups like an EMG 81/85 set and you can really tear it down into metal or hard rock, or got to some of the Duncan pups like a Pearly Gates and get a more Strat-like sound.
I have a USA ARC6 Set Neck on order and currently have Lance Harvill's (Arms of the Sun/Rex Brown) RX-GT Set Neck in my possession (Lance is a good friend and I needed some photos, plus his RX-GT is gloss white). And have to say that I love the neck profiles on Stuart's electric guitars. And the import models are identical to the USA models in that regard.
Wow. This picture confirmed it for me - I want a gloss white Rex bass! (Has anyone had any luck refinishing their Spectors before? I'm about to paint a bass I've built gloss white, so if that turns out well I might consider trying to refinish the Rex... maybe)
