In my experience, the "voice of reason" tends to be a litany of reasons why my idea (or want, or need, or desire, or....you get the idea) is a terrible, terrible concept. Therefore, I just tune out the voice of reason and do what I want. This is probably a significant contributing factor to why I've been single for a really long time.

Can you form a mental image of the pawnshop owner that blatantly mislisted it... and described it as an "awesome buy?"

I have a Spector Euro 4lx that I've had for about a year and I'm seriously considering a preamp swap. I'm having trouble dialing in a good tone. I play mostly classic rock nowdays and bought the bass when I was doing some more experimental music.

I love the feel and playability of the Spector but it sounds way too artificial for my needs. Should I look into different preamps or just go buy a Jazz?
