For real?
Jaymi, you gotta keep track of that one. I'm sure it's in good hands and all...but that thing was like Excalibur. |

I should tell ya that its not an actual product; Steve Albini figured it out when he was in Big Black.
Go to the music store, find the longest strap they have, wrap it around your stomach so that the ends are behind you, bring them around to the front, then attach them to your strap knobs.
Viola - one around-the-waist strap! I have never tried it, but it works better if it sits on your hips (I need to lose 15-20 lbs. to make that work), and it doesn't work with basses that have strap knobs on the back. If you have a Spector, no worries there! | One exception, since you are considering a Rex bass, you probably should know it does have the front strap button on the back. I guess that would make this around-the waist strap not work, so you should consider that.

They changed all USA 5 & 6's and Euro 5's (and later Euro 6 LX's offered starting in 2004) to 35" scale.
All Euro's began to receive inlays instead of dots.
However, a few "transitional" basses slipped through during the changeover like the NSCR4FM shown with the Double S, that still had dots. Some 5's slipped through with the double S that were still 34" and may or may not have inlays.
