Hey John, would a little detective work on your part yield the name of the folks who put it on?

I'd like to refinish one of my basses with this color. I really like solid color spectors. To bad they don't make many.

Love that notion. One of my favorite basses in this club is the, incredible, matte green 5er that John has

Thanks Chris. If I remember correctly, Sam's daughter came up with this. If I'm wrong about that, apologies ahead of time.

Yeah This color really really revs me up. Ink blue? I know this color is the result of Photoshop, but if it could be matched, the results would be outstanding.

Lol YES! EXACTLY! I'm happy to hear there's atleast 2 of us that think about these simple feats of engineering!

Where was the inlay done at John? Does it say how much it cost?

I think a forte would come out much darker than this. You know how blue euros look almost black. I'm no expert.

It revs my tach to 25,000 rpms! I'd love to personally myself refinish a CRFM in that stain color with either a matte or oil finish! That's the exact color that has been stuck in my mind ever since it came out as an example. Sam, do you know what color your daughter used for this?

Yes, it was done by some place I have never heard of before. I think their name is Spector or something like that, LOL. All kidding aside, the bass was actually shipped back to the Spector factory and the inlay was done there which makes me like it even more since I know it was done by them on their own bass.

The price is on the receipt but you are probably better off contacting a dealer or PJ since this was done like 10 years ago and I am sure the pricing is different now. I don't want to say what it was and then get a nasty-gram from PJ wondering why I am giving pricing that is really old

And I'm gonna start a SOLID color spector club. All that fancy wood is........fancy.

The red one you used to have looked great too. If I remember right it had a little wood grain showing through.

I am hopefully going to have my CRFM refinished to natural oil. Tung Oil would be cool. Cue, who paints the USA Spectors would charge less than $500 for a complete strip and oil finish. It might even be around $400. I forget.

It was killing it at practice this weekend. First gig with her on Saturday!
