They say its clear and clean and crisp. They say the bass with the 18 volt sounds boomy, loud, and ROCK and ROLL.
When playing different songs, say Simple Man....sounds closer to the original on PJ with flat eq, whereas the DCs bass on flat blows up a song like Outshined!

I have to cut bass on the NS 4 to get it to my liking. It's too boomy (for me) in the center detent. That pre has bass to spare.

Edit-What you are looking at is two Euro LX four strings. Both have preamps running at 18 volts. The one with the p/j config has the EMG BQC preamp, the other has EMG DCs and a Spector USA 18 volt preamp with a kill switch!
Which one does this Jamie prefer? And why? Spector madness...... | frick yeah!

By the way, I was kidding with the lego comment. I bet the micro amps are cool. I haven't tried the GK or the aggie. I could go that way.

I really like the black-on-red and gold-on-black setups; leave 'em the way they are...they look great!
