Thanks man. I'm broke too now! Honestly I made a promise that I'd buy the first red NS-2 I found. This one popped up and the rest is history.

It's definitely been used, but I like my basses a little rough around the edges that way I don't feel bad gigging them and dinging them up a bit.

Oh and Brian over at The Low End was awesome to deal with!

Very cool! He has some pretty crazy freakin basses in his shop! I try to check in every few weeks to see what he has coming in! ...I thought about going out there and playing the red one, but it was gone before I could check it out!

I still want to check out the caramel burst...one reason I haven't is because I'm scared that I will fall in love and not be able to afford it!

I assure you that the Thunderfunk 550b is a great amp! I would not mind having that Berg 425 either, it's the only cab I haven't tried of theirs yet!

I think we should rename this thread series the Spector Swap Meet the way you guys are passing these basses around!

I'm never letting go of my babies!

I have the older brother (not bigger, older) of the Thunderfunk, it is the only SS amp I ever really enjoyed! AMP BH-420.

Glad to see you got your hands on another NS-2.

How is the neck (front to back) compared to the previous one you had?

The red one is nice, I made a offer on the Carmel one earlier. Waiting for a reply. Were you able to get them to come off the price any? 2700 is a bit steep for the brown.

Most of my pedals came in!

I'm still waiting on a couple more... but that's OK. I'm going to make the neighbors hate me this weekend!

Ok got a reply on the Low End Kramer, 2600 is the best he can do. Got to pass on that one, they are great but that is a little more than I value it at.

Especially with the issues it has in the finish by the neck. Is that cracking? That is a cool color but like you, I wouldn't pay that much.

There is a Woodstock NS-4 in the classifieds, brownburst, in much better shape, for around the same price....

I noticed that too and was wondering - are the Kramer era basses finished in poly, or something else?

Pedal day, always a fun day. Only one that your missing is the Carbon Copy, I love that delay.

That is the only one I have ever seen with cracking like that by the neck that I can think of so that worries me a bit more. Makes you wonder if it had some sort of neck damage or something.

I think he mentioned on Facebook that the Carbon Copy is on its way Is that a good pedal? I was never a pedal user but they are starting to peak my interest a bit now and I am about to buy a B3K and a Morley Dual Bass Wah to get me started.

I'll say this about you Patrick - you don't go half-a$$ed on anything you purchase! Congrats, and enjoy exploring uncharted sonic realms this weekend.

BTW, I just ordered one of the new Electro-Harmonix Talking Pedals - primairly for my guitar rig - but I definitely plan on trying it out with the Spectors. This YouTube demo indicates some serious mayhem potential...

I have a Morley Dual Bass Wah that I will practically give you if you want. The B3k is going no where. I used to use pedals and I had more than both guitarist together. When I played in a cover band I had to get the exact tone of every player I covered. I am anal like that. I have been working in a few projects and my band now is all original so I get to find my own tone now.
