I can pick one up for $400, and although the neck and frets are in good nick, it has a huge thumbnail sized ding in the body, a few smaller dings on the back of the neck, a ding in the headstock, and 'sanding' over the buckle rash on the back of the body.
It looks rough I think, because every single ding has evidence of a home style repair job, with sanding and even red paint. So not knowing what it looked like before, he may have made matters considerably worse. |

From the way you are describing this one, it sounds like it is overpriced at $400.

Really liking the sound of these strings - moreso than the Fat Beams which were my previous favorites. We'll see how their longevity is. And I caught a break and didn't have to file the nut on my 5LX to fit the 150 I bought for standard A tuning. Now I can finally get to the business of actually playing and recording these things!
So who's good at making those 18v mod cables? I need three and I'm willing to offer up $ for parts plus a couple of sets of strings for your time - I have some sets already or I can buy what you like. Seriously I do not want to go buy all the stuff soldering - I know I won't have the patience for it. |

I have a complete set of brand new Gold hardware. Bridge, Schaller Tuners, and Schaller Straplocks. I also have some Gold pickup screws and some gold nuts and washers for the pots that I'll throw in.
PM me for the family discount!

But that will likely be the finish I go with for an eventual US order.
Thinking 9v Haz with 45P and a 45J in an NS-6XL. |
