This one's killing me... The red NS-2 would be a perfect counterpart to my blue NS-4, like fire & water....

Yep!! Most of the US 4/5'ers I've played were just too bulky for me.

When I ordered my BO fretless I requested it have a thin "Webster-esque" profile. I'm going to request the same profile on the NS-5H2 with the single MM pickup I plan on ordering next year.

Ahh good to know you can do this. I'm good with the thickness of my NS-5XL but it might be too much on a 6.

Yeah I contacted PJ before I ordered it to see what options were available. I told him I wanted the profile from the Webster bass on the BO and he was cool with it. It will be a bit different because it's not a neck-thru, but the front to back profile should be very close!

I played the NS-5XL you got from Guy before he sold it. It was a bit thick for my tastes.

I can't even concentrate on playing right now!! Every time I start to practice, I just imagine how sweet it will sound played on a fretless and I just get bummed out and stop!

I believe we were discussing the band Periphery not too long ago. Did anyone see this?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCp8v...layer_embedded

I know it's not a Spector but that is just a cool video to watch. Oh, and he is using a B3K to get that tone

Haha, just saw your fb post on this!
I read the comments and nolly said that on this vid it was the DI from his axe fx II, with the sound set to match his B7k so he didn't have to bring it on the road. But still, if this wa just a facsimile, I can't imagine how monstrous the real thing is...

It looks rough I think, because every single ding has evidence of a home style repair job, with sanding and even red paint. So not knowing what it looked like before, he may have made matters considerably worse.
I bought a NS-95 SSD New/Old stock for $600...I'd offer him $250-350. HAve you got to play it at all? I'd make sure either to play it or make sure he'll guarentee it. They're an amazing sounding and playing bass. One of my sell regrets.

If you guys think Maker's is "top shelf" stuff you really don't know your bourbon. Just because it's on the top shelf at ABC doesn't mean it's "top shelf".

I did not call it top shelf, I called it sipping bourbon. For example, I am getting a bourbon I had to order that is seasonal that comes out only during Holiday Season for about $100 @ 140 proof.......that might not even be top shelf.......I would mix Beam, I would drink Makers on the Rocks, I would drink Blanton's warm.......while playing my Spector on a chilly night! LOL

Your partner did. You guys can sip on your top shelf Makers Mark while discussing 2013 snowfall numbers. Will it be 34 or 35 inches? H and K's.

Don't even get me started on HK's! Last count was 5 and I get to shoot my buddy's MP5 and UMP all the time. Nice having friends on the SWAT team.
