I don't know about once again. They've not been available at all as far as I know. My bass has been finished other than needing a circuit for several weeks.

The orders are filled in the order that they were put in. So if there's 10 NS-2s sitting in the rack that only need a circuit to be finished, and the order date for those is before you ordered your circuit, then those 10 basses will get the first 10 circuits to come in. If that makes sense.

I had placed a order for some clothes and wanted to add some items. I was inquiring on wether my order had shipped. It had so I told her that I would wait on the 9v before ordering so I could get free shipping and that is what she told me. I'm sure that it is a drag more for them than for us.

Got this from Jo Ann today in case anyone wanted a 9v status update.
Wowzers...that sucks for anyone waiting for their NS-2 to be completed.

There's a tension & tonal difference between the 2. My J has 45-132 D'addario Chromes, and my Rebop is wearing 45-125 DR Black Beauties. Both are 5 strings with passive pickups and an active EQ. The Spector sounds slightly brighter, and is MUCH louder, with more growl.

Has anyone ever put flats on a Rebop? Do they sound good?

Of course. I had GHS Precision SS FW on my former ReBop 5 DLX and it had punch and growl forever! On my recent ReBop 4 DLX I currently have RotoSounds 77 Jazz Flats and the grit and growl is marvelous! I tried power Slinkies first but it just didn't have "That" tone! Either Rotos or GHS would sound great on your Bop!

I don't know for sure...we only have 1 and its 30 miles south of us in Petoskey. But in all of the small mom & pops store gas stations in our small villages they all are loaded up with liqueur, wine & beer.

Wow so that is the axe fx doing that? I have been interested in that ever since bassgiant started making his videos since that is what he uses but I just can't justify the cost. A mediocre bass player that isn't even in a band(me, lol) doesn't really need an axe fx so I will pickup the b3k definitely.

+1!

That's in the ballpark.
Thanks for everyone who offered me timely advice on the NS-95.

NS-95 NOS for $600.. I'd buy that for a dollar!

I have played the bass, and the owner seems to guarantee it, at least for a week! Haha. It plays pretty good, but I am still hesitant to drop my money on a'damaged bass, just in case this 5 string thing doesn't work out in the future, and I need to sell it on.

Would it change the value of the bass somewhat if it was an NS-5 (Korean)? I originally thought it was an NS-95 as that matched the specs on the spector site. However, apparently it is an NS-5 (at least it "says" that the truss rod cover), but still, it makes no difference to me, as couldn't find anything on the net about the existence or value of MIK NS-5s.

ha...the club for all your Spector and Bourbon advice you could use. So, I'm relatively new to and inexperienced in the bourbon world. What's recomended that pairs well with a white Euro 4? Thus far, I really like Makers & Buffalo Trace but haven't ventured too much further beyond those. I'm not a Jack fan though.

Yeah, it should be interesting to see how this one plays out.

I live in Colorado, and just because the State legalized it doesn't mean private or government workplace rules have changed - especially if you have CDL with HazMat endorsement.

Fortunately, my drug of choice is Spector, and it has been legal here from the start.
That, and single-malt scotch. You bourbon sippers should treat yourselves to some 18-year old oak cask aged Scottish goodness.

Zach, I haven't tried everything out there but i'll afree with whoever recommended blanton's. that's great smooth bourbon and the bottle is pretty nifty as well. for accessible scotch I think balvenie double wood is a good introduction without spending too much.

to keep it on topic. I waited almost two months for my haz when I ordered it last march.

i have a friend who lives in the springs and hes really happy about the law that passed. but, he said theres all kinds of ruckus going on about the feds stepping in. and like you said, just because the state says its legal, you still have to go by federal law job wise. so it's not a freewill at all. its just basically a law where you can carry some around with you and not get busted.
