He was having a hard time selling it on Talkbass since he first had it way over priced and then had no feedback.
He asked if anyone in the area was a Spector expert who could check the bass out and try to help him sell it.
I PM'd him and he was at my house a few hours later.
He actually offered to leave the bass at my house on July 5th. I had it sold to Omer by July 9th.
I shipped it to Seattle on July 25th. I spent 3 weeks with this bass and it was just amazing. That is one of the reasons why I had shipped it to Omer's friend even though Omer wasn't going to pick it for a while. I just had to get it out of my house or I would have never been able to let it go.
Congrats and I am so glad he was finally able to get it. | bahahaha!! pimp...

Why do used Spector Euros range so much used? It seems they range from $500-1200+ on TB.
Are the differences only bolt on vs. NT?
Sorry about the newbie question, but I am looking for a backup Spector and can't seem to figure out the various Euro models.
Thx!

Rebops are really cheap on the used market but are well made basses. if you want one to sound closer to your forte though you're going to at least need to replace the EMG HZ pickups with active EMGs. they'll drop in. then you can replace the stock pre with the setup youve got in your forte. or try something new. the non- trimpot tone pump is not a good preamp. you could spend considerably more and get a euro neck through 5 (rarely see those for under 900, but occasional deals happen). you still might have a non trimpot tone pump to contend with though.

Jo Ann sent me an email saying a shipment is expected to leave HazLabs Friday. They are going to fill their production needs first, then will start filling the backorders.
So maybe things will start to improve with the 9v USA shortage.
