It has a BTC preamp and an EXB. I haven't played a Forte with the Aguilar pre, but mine sounds killer. I don't use the EXB much, but I really like the EMG BTC. |
The aguilar is more natural, EMG is more articulate, and Spector preamps (both haz and not) are more growly. Love em all but each for a specific sound! |
