Regarding the Kramer, the fella selling it was honest about what he was doing, and Jeff is one of the most honest people in our little family. 100% real no BS type person.

If that was the case, it is what it is right? Whatever the seller choose to sell the bass for is their call. If the price wasn't worth it no one would have bought it right? So in closing I meant the bass is worth 2k right? What more does anyone need to say? Jeff is selling a bass he bought from another seller and the price is within range of said bass.....it's legit
Ya Jeff is a straight shooter.... I was defending him also... This guy will buy your bass for more than you paid for it and then sell it for less.... So Jeff is ok in my book.

Hey, if I had the $$ I'd buy it! It wouldn't have reached the classified! That's a stellar price! Someone poised the the question...a couple of us answered it.

Very excited. Going to casa de Limaguy tomorrow, today actually! Sam is going to hook up my HAZ so I can continue on to rehearsal. One of the main reasons I play Spector. The people! Not just the owners and employees, though they are fantastic, but the people who play them and are passionate about them. I have made some good friends, thanks to these exceptional instruments.
Whatcha talken about Willis!?!?..That accent?....haha

Oh. And you probably shouldn't make him mad.

By the way Jeff is not on facebook.

This seller who once bragged that we wouldn’t believe how cheap he got the bass for.
And then later mentioned $500

(those posts have been deleted from the Spector Club when he decided to sell it for 2K)

This same seller also claimed last year that he purchased a Complete Hartke 4x10 & 1X15 rig for $199 and that came with a separate 1X15 Behringer.
So we either have a guy who likes to exaggerates how cheap he has purchased something for or got lucky and made a $1,500 profit.

Jeff is selling the bass for less then he paid for it just like he always does. I have never seen Jeff try to make even a penny from a re-sale.

Remember Jeff is also the same person who paid over 2K for brand new white Ian Hill and sold it to smadder for the Chris donation for a major loss.

I don’t think its cool that anyone should refer to a previous price of a bass especially when it is up for sale in the classifieds section.

Remember I am like “Rain Man” I can probably list at least 20 used Spectors that were bought and sold in the last 5 months and tell you who made and lost money on each sale.

Out of respect to Jeff I think the entire $500 quote should be removed by the mods.
Thanks Sam!!...This man is Wise beyond his years!!

Yes a couple did answer the question. Here's a few more:

How much money is in your bank account?

How much land do you and your family own?

How big is your pecker?

Have you lost any intimacy in your love life?

Some might not see these as appropriate analogies but I do. Again, I question the timing and taste of the question AND answers.

Ok, I'm gonna tune out for a few days. See you guys later in the week.

Ps. Those are rhetorical questions Ice.

THE DEATH OF COMMON SENSE

Common Sense lived a long life but died in the United States from heart failure on the brink of the new millennium. No one really knows how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He selflessly devoted his life to service in schools, hospitals, homes and factories, and helping folks get jobs done without fanfare and foolishness. For decades, petty rules, silly laws, and frivolous lawsuits held no power over Common Sense. He was credited with cultivating such valued lessons as to know when to come in out of the rain, why the early bird gets the worm, and that life isn't always fair.

Common Sense lived by simple credos: sound financial policies (don't spend more than you earn), reliable parenting strategies (the adults are in charge, not the kids), and winning isn't everything (it's okay to come in second).

A veteran of the Industrial Revolution, the Great Depression, and the Technological Revolution, Common Sense survived trends including body piercing, whole language, and "new math." But his health declined when he became infected with the "If-it-only-helps-one-person-it's-worth-it" virus. In recent decades his waning strength proved no match for the ravages of well intentioned but overbearing regulations. He watched in pain as good people became ruled by self-seeking lawyers. His health rapidly deteriorated when schools endlessly implemented zero-tolerance policies.

Reports of a six-year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate, a teen suspended for taking a swig of mouthwash after lunch, and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student only worsened his condition. It declined even further when schools had to get parental consent to administer aspirin to a student but could not inform the parent when a female student was pregnant or wanted an abortion.

Finally, Common Sense lost his will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband, churches became businesses, criminals received better treatment than victims, and federal judges stuck their noses in everything from the Boy Scouts to professional sports. Finally, when a woman, too stupid to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot, was awarded a huge settlement, Common Sense threw in the towel.

As the end neared, Common Sense drifted in and out of logic but was kept informed of developments regarding questionable regulations such as those for low flow toilets, rocking chairs, and stepladders. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by two stepbrothers and a stepsister: My Rights, Only Me and Ima Whiner.

Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone.

Looking at the mechanism, I don't think they would be reasonably able to make the M4 Xtender with the hole at the 6 o'clock position.

Re: $500 Kramer NS2:
FWIW, I thought that bass was white?!

I think i have to drill a hole because in doing some research i found this previous post a while back from Limaguy:

"The M4s are the tuners used on NS-2As and NS-2s and early Euro models. (the mount screw is on the side)

The Schaller tuners on the Euro series have the mount screw on the bottom. I have yet to find any replacement Schaller M4 tuners that have the mount screw on the bottom.

I emailed PJ about this a few months back and he recommended looking for M4-2000 series. But they also don't have the screw on the bottom and they also look different.

The Tuners on the Euro series say Schaller and the ones on the M4s either say (S) Made in Germany or the older ones say (S) Made in West Germany.

Im guessing these are some special European version used by the Czech factory, buying them directly from Schaller in Germany. I am not even sure if these are considered M4s?

You may be able to use Gotoh or Grover. ( Hipshot GB7)
But they seem to require a 9/16"(14mm) Peg hole
while the Schallers are 7/16" Peg holes

So you would need to break out the reamer.
"
