Just like anything else, it's what the market is paying. The white ns2a on ebay just went for 610 and i've seen the go for up to 900. Not to long ago they were selling for 350 to 500. Some would rather have a 2a over a new euro, I would. Over time they will only increase in value.

I used to haul 6 or 7 basses to gigs, but the 'ol back ain't what it used to be, and I get 90% of the sounds I need from just my Spectors.
Still, the 4003 & Jazz basses come out to play occasionally.... | +1....I like to go beyond just the passive /active...to same pre-amp. Once you touch the gain between basses it kills the sound guy..hehe

One of these days I'm going to have to call both Sam and Jeff to discuss the pros & cons of exactly this point.

In some basses I could add a little of the sansamp...but it isn't necessary with the Kramers,

The production at the original Korean factory was from 1987 to 1989. They made around 2-3K per year.
Serial numbers NS8xxx would be 1989
So NS6xxx maybe 88ish.
In 1990 they temporarily switched factories, thus the Samick verison NS-2A's which have S ser# on the back of the headstock. (and less curve, bridge and knob placement)
FYI, NS-94/95, 2000, Q & Legend series are made at the original Korean factory that the 87-89 NS-2A's were made at. | My NS-2A's serial number is 1234... Thought that was pretty cool to have one with sequential numbering like that. I guess that means it's a late '87?

But some Queensryche, AIC and Godsmack quickly slapped me back to my senses. Still loving my NS2A ever since.
