gotta put my dot on this thread! I'm in with no spectors currently owned, but still
checking in daily to see what the Spector mob is buying lately.

By the way, my vote for the EMG BTC as the best bang for the buck preamp replacement still stands. hazlab still wins though.

Instrumental Music in Ventura, Santa Barbara and Thousand Oaks is a Spector Dealer.

They're locally owned. Great stores.

In and Spectorless! Sigh! Still waiting for "Big Blue"...but in the meantime I have on loan to keep me company...a Geddy Lee and an old P bass Fenders. There's something sweet about "old wood".

It has a BTC preamp and an EXB. I haven't played a Forte with the Aguilar pre, but mine sounds killer. I don't use the EXB much, but I really like the EMG BTC.
Loved head over heels with the OBP 3 in my former Forte 5.

The sun finally came out and I got a chance to photograph the new family. With all the buy, sell and trades these three have landed.

The always reliable and my rock of the fleet Forte with two new additions: A 1986 Kramer era in orange flame and a 1990 blue quilt NS 2 (Jeff's former Precious). They all play incredible sweet and sound just a tad different in a great way. Love these basses.

I wanted to get an outside shot but it's a bit cold so I got the best one I could for now. Here is the updated family photo with my newest acquisition:

You know it! I do think I will probably pickup a P/J Spector just to have next year at some point but it's not something on my immediate list since I am very happy with my collection right now.

I'm thinking about throwing a Euro 5 bridge with intonation screws on my Rebop.
It's confirmed that it will fit, but is there anything fancy I have to do with the saddles?
Someone mentioned I might have to cut slots for the strings to rest in.
Is this the case?

Yes, you will need to cut the slots. I ordered a new Euro bridge for my Rebop 5 (without the intonation screws) and there were no grooves cut in the saddles. Sam (Limaguy) did the install for me and I believe he just used a file if I am not mistaken. I will verify with him though and find out.
