By the way, my vote for the EMG BTC as the best bang for the buck preamp replacement still stands. hazlab still wins though.

It's confirmed that it will fit, but is there anything fancy I have to do with the saddles?
Someone mentioned I might have to cut slots for the strings to rest in.
Is this the case?

The always reliable and my rock of the fleet Forte with two new additions: A 1986 Kramer era in orange flame and a 1990 blue quilt NS 2 (Jeff's former Precious). They all play incredible sweet and sound just a tad different in a great way. Love these basses.

Is this the case? | Yes, you will need to cut the slots. I ordered a new Euro bridge for my Rebop 5 (without the intonation screws) and there were no grooves cut in the saddles. Sam (Limaguy) did the install for me and I believe he just used a file if I am not mistaken. I will verify with him though and find out.
