There's no listing in these threads prior to having a TB ad, no going into great detail on the items, etc. We don't want to have to revoke this due to abuse.
Thanks |

After nearly of 3 years of research and interviews... sorting through thousands of photos and research into obscure corners of the guitar manufacturing industry...
The new Spector (company) website is complete! THIS IS A TALKBASS EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW.
I won't be putting anything about this site anywhere else!
PJ Rubal will make the official launch tomorrow on FB, etc... so please enjoy this but don't share it with anyone outside of the Spector TalkBass Forum. Thanks!!!
So you know what you're looking at:
This site is all the history, model history, advertising history, customer service, current news and promotions, and world-wide dealer locations.
Very soon the SpectorBass website we all know and love will be nothing but information on CURRENT Spector Bass models and artists. All other information such as history, etc... will link to the site I'm about to share with you.
The same goes for the Spector Electric Guitars website. Be sure to look at all the links, etc... on this site. There's never before seen photos, information and the Model history section now features a very thorough Headstock, Inlay and Bridge section.
And the history section, Stuart's Biography, and many other sections will shed light on some things no one has ever discussed before concerning Spector, Stuart, PJ and the company's history.
For those of you who have asked about the documentary I've been working on, all of the historic info on this new site is FROM my documentary and research.
Enjoy! www.spectorguitars.com
And if any of you find any issues with links, etc... email me at webadmin@spectorbass.com

One of the chemo drugs I got last week makes my eyes tired when I spend time at a computer screen of my phone, so for like 2-4 days I just "Go Dark" and kind of stay away from computers, Tv's, mostly my phone, but it's flushed out of my system for the most part now, I'm good.
Once again I am overwhelmed by how awesome you guys are. I try to read the posts and try stuff out once in a while you guys recommend. I sometimes buy a couple of things to try, then if it's just not my thing, I put it into a cupboard with all my bass stuff. Last week I cleaned out the cupboard and try to send all the stuff to people I remember digging it or I thought should try it. I truly wish I had an endless cupboard I could send everyone everything you all dig, like you deserve. Quote:

The sad thing is this will probably be the end of my involvement with the project. I know they are not likely to back up enough in the process to get the bottom end sounding better, and there's simply no way I'm going to put any more time or money into supporting an album I am not audible on. Rather than make them replace the bass tracks, I'd probably just let them buy my performance rights and leave it at that. What a headache. | That's heartbreaking. All that hard work and people just don't hear it. It's too bad you couldn't get a rough mix of it, mix it down yourself or with some friends and actually show them how much better it would sound with your vision of how the bass should sound. Quote:

| That's a good idea, and will likely be part of my terms if the thing goes south. There's already been talk of each member getting a mix without their part in it for practice purposes, so I would just want the tracks sans bass so I could make a decent version for my portfolio. In the end that's more important to me than any payment. I still have all the raw bass tracks since I did my parts at home.
And your bass is stunning - so happy for you. You picked a great finish. |
