OK, so to carry on from the previous thread...

I did some research & my TonePump won't have the internal gain control. It's a 2006. From what I've found on the TonePump circuit, this gain control was not added until 2008.
This also rules out the option of running it as an 18v circuit.

I found this information here: Spector Tonepump specs, questions, wirings..

I guess I'm left with getting a US 18v or an aftermarket, like an Aguilar OBP-2 or EMG BQC.

I absolutely love the Aggie OBP-2 and 3!!! You can dial in some nice round warm sounds or get real growly!!

Besides, if Stuart thinks that the OBP-2 is good enough for the Forte, Coda and the OBP-3 for the US BO, they have to be doing something right!

I like it! I am thinking of getting a fEARful cab sometime next year! I have a DNA 112N which is a really nice cab, but I'm definitely interested in the fEARful 15/6 or 15/6/1! I've got a guy local who builds them and he said I could come by when my 5 string gets here and try out some of his demos! CANT WAIT!
