Not saying they did anything, but all of those guys were copying each other. Heck, when you are selling millions of dollars worth of pointy headstocks, why not use the same successful formula?

Ok, I will admit I am not proud of this, but..... If you look at that picture, you can see our second guitarist in the pic (playing a Carvin V220-talk about the 80's). Anyway, we made him get extensions to join the band. I remember how happy he was when his hair had grown enough to take them out!

Hi guys.. I don't know how you are gonna take this but I am kiiiinda disliking these knobs on the Euro. I like a simple look, and these okastic knobs with the dots are just not doing it for me. I want to replace them with simpler metal knobs, is there an easy way of getting them off? I tried pulling but I was scared to break something on my nice new bass

Any advice? Thanks

They do pull off - takes a good amount of force though. I was scared the first time too. Pull man, pull!

Take a cloth. Put it under the bell of the knob. Wrap cloth around knob. Twist cloth like you're ringing it out. Pull.

I grew up in Jersey. In the late 80s.

My mullet was EPIC.

NBD! Coda 5 Deluxe Bahama Blue

My Coda 5 Deluxe arrived 3 hours ago but I had to be snapped back into realty and take some quick photos. The Coda's real color is not captured by the camera. It has a pearl luminescent copper green hue to it in the light that the camera doesn't catch, except a tiny bit on the lower horn at the tip on 1 picture. It's an overcast and spitting snow day. The strings are set super low to the neck, the neck's thickness front to back is super thin! much like my former Forte 5 or even thinner, I'll take neck measurements when I go put the GHS Precision Flats custom's on and send the measurements to Patrick. Very fast neck! It's an oiled neck. This Coda 5 Deluxe definitely says "High Quality" big time!!! Enjoy the photos!
