Thanks Donny, I just did. He turned it around in under 5 minutes! So cool. It's an impressive site. Between that and Best Bass Gear, you can find almost any part you need.

Hey Patrick, I just wanted to wish you well on your surgery! I had to have neck surgery while evacuated to Houston during Hurricane Katrina. When the doctor told me, I couldn't believe it (as if being evacuated, house damaged, a 3 week old kid, etc. wasn't enough). However, I was sitting in the hospital to get my pre-op watching images from the TV of hospital workers in New Orleans hanging sheets out the window to send help back home and thought, this could be much worse.

Anyway, I have my limits such as how much I'll lift and avoiding roller coasters, etc. However, that is pretty minor to be pain free and live my life. Those few months of constant nerve pain shooting down my arm and into my hand that pain medicine had no effect on was eye opening. You realize how crappy it is for those that live with chronic pain b/c it affects EVERYTHING you do.

Best of luck on the surgery and to a speedy recovery man!!!!

Yeah we have 4 kids and I work two full time jobs so I get it too man........i beat myself up more so. I often feel bad...then i got in my walk in and spare room and see the piles of crafting supplies she has, and I feel better about buying that next bass............

My issue will be a 3-4 day trip away from home without her and the kids.....i'll get the.......why do you get to run away and have fun with out us and have a bunch of fun while we are stuck at home..... speech. LOL
i get grief too about that. but i can understand why. its like im at work all week while she was at home with the kids and then on the weekends, id go jam. really unfair until she started the, "i want to go out with my friends" speech.

I've bought from BassStringsOnline a couple times. I had totally forgotten about the TB stuff there. I sent him an email saying how impressed I was about the fast shipping, selection and pricing. Happened to mention that I was a TB member and he gave me a bunch of points towards my next purchase.

It's the only place I will buy strings from now, among other things. I can't recommend that place enough.

That recording sounded awesome! I may have to pick your bains about what you use in regards to mixing.

Be careful lifting your new Taurus 3 pedals! I just loaded mine up in the road case last night (1st gig with the new band this Saturday!) & damn near gave myself a hernia....

Speaking of Taurus, you'll have to chime in over in the Taurus Club thread & let us know what you think of them so far.

Jeff that's a cool one. The fingerboard wood is so light colored! I think it looks awesome!

For any of the NYC-based brethren next week...

I'm digging the tele-style shape on the RXT. And the meet/greet with man himself would be pretty cool as well.

Too bad it's actually a Korean Rex that they are giving away - if it were the USA bass as pictured, I'd be bidding right now....

+1. Still, I wouldn't mind adding one of these to the stable just to give it a try.
