I 'll ask PJ if he changed that with the new price list coming out next month.

we do call the Kramer era Spectors Kramers and the Samick made Spectors Samicks.. so it makes sense we would refer to the preamp by the manufacturer, right?
i think its just an "in the know" thing. we all know what the deal is.. |

Trust your gut. Asking this question the way you did reads that you know this band is not for you. If you're serious about playing, only associate yourself with musicians that are at the level you want to be at.
Better musicians make you better, lesser musicians make you lesser.
If you have to wait for a better band, then wait. If you're playing in a crappy band, I doubt you'll impress anyone that will ask you to play in a good band. Quote:

a) go and audition and maybe try to persway them to play more covers (if i get the spot)
b) go and audition and be really crappy (with the chance of me knowing as a crappy bassist)
c) just turn it down knowing there are probably not many other bands to pick from and waiting for who knows how long to find someone else. |

I did enjoy the pic or Jeff's black NS2 with gold hardware. Thats my favorite. Quote:

I want the Streamer Stage 2 you have in your TB icon, Badly. Maybe we can chat about it next time we talk along with all the usual happy fun stuff that's been going down around here and if there's anything we can do to make it better. Put the joy back in it. Make it less about the billionaire/adventurer/stuff and more about the inspiration and MUSIC!!!

My personal favorite X-Mas disc is the one from the Brian Setzer Orchestra. The man is one seriously underrated guitarist. Last time I saw the BSO play here in Denver, I was awed - the man has chops by the boatload!

It's a hard point to argue with. | Stuart Spector commands a lot of well deserved respect on this forum.
Given Stuart encourages those who enjoy his basses to refer to it as the "USA Spector 9V Tone Circuit"... why would you want to do him the disservice of using any other term?
How about this... every time you say the "H" word just imagine that you are kicking Stuart Spector right in the family jewels
