Haha, no I wish! I'm currently paring down my stable of basses as my 3 Spectors and 3 of my non-spectors are all I'm playing right now, and I have double that....
There was once a day I never thought I would sell the frankenbasses I built, this was before my first Spector of course!

So, I've been looking at this bass online. The seller says it's an NS20005...but that it's a 35" scale. It also seems to have inlays, but the NS20005 on the Spector site does not...

Those inlays are stickers, someone will verify this also. Is that a BOB? Ask Patrick or Sam.....they can identify it for sure. I say ask they as they seem to have the most knowledge as club members of models(said respectfully), but maybe someone else will chime in

My NS20005 is 35" scale, that one is definitely an NS20005 it was posted before, there were some deluxe NS20004/NS20005 basses that had a thin figured top put on them.
100% those are vinyl inlay "decals" many users in here have them, I have a set on mine, though applied better than they are on that bass.
$600 is a bit steep I got mine in very good condition for $500 and it was a rare color (cherryburst) they are very nice basses, maybe see if you can talk him down a little bit on the price?

I 2nd that... that is a NS20005 with vinyl inlay decals.
I requested a hipshot d-tuner for my B string (which they normally don't do) but look at the result! He moved the sig so it can be seen!Small little details just makes it all the more special!
Ola' from Mexico! It's so sunny down here between Rosarito & Ensanada only 200 yards or so from the ocean in a cute little village that's a mix of northerners & locals. After getting pounded with rain & slightly above freezing temperatures for the past month up in Washington state, I could get used to living this life real quick.
Sadly, we miss our cats & I wasn't able to bring my new Woodstock Forte-4X with me, but I did snap these pictures before we left. The new X is having minor surgery at Bass Northwest while I'm down here ... they're adding a strap button to where the upper horn normaly would be (like on a Thunderbird), & setting me up with new Rotosounds (as it possibly had the original strings it was born with - can anybody tell from the photos?) I am so looking forward to picking it back up the day after Christmas when we arrive home. I've been playing the h*ll out of it all week prior to leaving town, & am so amazed at the sounds that come out of it!
Can I please have a number? Buenos Dias

Congrats on the Forte 4X
Those do appear to be the original strings, which would be Spector Nickels. The E string is slightly tapered.

Based on the taper on the E-String near the bridge, I'd say these are the stock Nickel Spector Medium Strings that came on that bass.

Thanks. I figured they were fakes. I'm probably going to do a trade for this bass, plus get some cash in the process. I'm not using my Fender P-5 and he's throwing in an HSC & cash.
