I know Chris and Lee have had great things to say about this little head, and all of the reviews online have been excellent. So, now I just need to find an ideal Cabinet to go with it.
I've never had anything other than a combo, so this is new to me.
I'd like a small, 210 or 112 that I can sit on my desk if possible. Any tips on what might work best with this head and help me get the best sound out of my Spectors?
Thanks guys!

Thanks guys! | I am really digging the NEO GK 112 I bought to go with it, light, cheep, cool looking with the MB200 on top, and the Spectors sound great through it!

How's that set up sound at lower volumes? Still have good tone at "kids in bed" volumes?

I use the MB200 with a MBE 210 Cab.
I can get some decent kids in bed volumes

Thanks guys! | I dabbled with the MB200 & eventually settled on an Ampeg PF-500. Such great tone & while it's bigger than the MB, it has twice the headroom!

Probably a good thing as it would break my back anyway! |

Sadly, we miss our cats & I wasn't able to bring my new Woodstock Forte-4X with me, but I did snap these pictures before we left. The new X is having minor surgery at Bass Northwest while I'm down here ... they're adding a strap button to where the upper horn normaly would be (like on a Thunderbird), & setting me up with new Rotosounds (as it possibly had the original strings it was born with - can anybody tell from the photos?) I am so looking forward to picking it back up the day after Christmas when we arrive home. I've been playing the h*ll out of it all week prior to leaving town, & am so amazed at the sounds that come out of it!
Can I please have a number? Buenos Dias | Hola! Our daughter & future son-in-law just got back from Cancujn Mexico. It was hot and humid they said.
That ForteX is gorgeous! Congratulations and welcome to our Spector family!

Probably a good thing as it would break my back anyway! | There were two Forte-Xs for sale where I bought mine, & I was kinda shocked at the weight difference between them. I believe the one I got is about 9#, where the other was closer to 11#. I'll get an exact number when I get back to the States and get to hold my baby once again It does make my Yamaha feel like a toy

I'd be after the NS shape if I could ever afford one.
The weight of those on basscentral are generally between 10-11 lbs, 5 strings are a bit more. The absolute upper limit for basses for me these days is about 9lbs (my stupid back is like glass) |

I post my question before bed and wake up with the answers I was looking for.... and sound clips to boot. Thanks Sam for those!
Now I need to get my plan in place to fund them. Some fantasty football winnings from this weekend will help. Anyone looking for a like new Rebop 5DLX Zebop in black stain?
Thank you all for the feedback!
