Chris

I'm not a person who posts a lot, but I follow this thread on an almost daily basis. I hope the family of chris will find the strength to get through this difficult time in their lives.

One thing I know Chris liked and that's photos of sexy Spector Basses (and the occasional guitar).

So here you go!

In honor of Chris!

I know your username is completely unrelated to Chris Loe, but I feel that this is a very honourable thing to do.

NS-2 #800 & Forte-4 #35 Photos JPS
--------
The photo below was taken on 12/28/12.
I was speaking with Chris a few days before and I mentioned that I didn't know Spector sold the Polo shirts in big boy sizes

He just took it upon himself to send me one since he just purchased 2 from Spector earlier that week and cleared out their stock.

He also sent me 3 sets of Rotosound Strings since he wasn't using that gauge any longer. Just one example of the type of person he was.

If you look close you will see the photo of Stuart holding my Forte. Chris sent me a Loe family card along with the shirt. I put that photo in the frame with Stuart and my Forte and told him he was the only one worthy of such an honor.

In case you missed this post from the previous thread which will be closed soon.

I created a website with direct PayPal links to donate money which will go directly to the Loe's Paypal Account.

Consider this the official donation page, it has been approved by his wife Andrea and Patrick.

You can also send an email on this page which will be received by his wife Andrea and his sister Chantale.

Even if you can't donate, I am sure they will find comfort with just seeing a message sent to them.

Chris

Didnt have much interaction with Chris, but I'll pay my respects for a fallen member of this great family of Spector owners/players. Rest in peace bro. Hoping for the best for your family in this hard time.

In as well. I'm carrying this over from the previous thread since it encapsulates the many facets of awesome that Chris brought to the table. He was brutally funny, and I will definitely miss that humor and humility.

In Memory of Chris Loe

Thank you C for posting this YouTube song...I found it soothing

I was thinking a bit while driving home from a gig tonight. Whenever I'm mulling over some sort of loss, this tune always comes to mind. Written as an elegy for Lester Young, this piece has always moved me a bit. Just thought I'd pass it along here, hoping that another member here might appreciate it. RIP Chris. You won't be forgotten.
