I'm sure if I put more time into it, I could have probably figured it out but it was just annoying me every time I went to tune the bass.

I can't get it to sync up. | They can be finicky until you get them dialed. Once dialed though, they are pretty dead on IMO. There is a good video online that shows you how to set them up. I'll dig for it now.

I can drop tune with a twist of the wrist and pretty much be spot on in a second. It was just original equipment and I wanted to not change anything on this bass. The beat up blue on is getting a refin but this one is staying original since it is in such great shape.

It was tied with my 4003 as my #1 bass before I got my 1st Spector - now most of the non-Spectors are just gathering dust, & I hate dusting...

You have been a Spector supporter & afficianado for quite some time now, and I'd love to see you slinging some neck-thru, solid maple winged wickedness.
One of these days I'll find out how to work the damned multi-quote button.
After all, if Jeff can figure it out after all these years....

All instruments in near-new condition, a few minor bumps & bruises on the CRFM... | I'm not sure on the others but I paid around $800 for my CRFMs... I would list it at $1000. That Geddy and StingRay should move quick too |

| | Registered User | | Join Date: Jan 2011 Location: New Brunswick, NJ | | I'm in. Still have both modded Legend 5s.
Here's the Bubinga topped one (tuned G-C-G-C-F) at my gig yesterday:
And here's my Black Cherry over Quilt Maple one (tuned one half step down) at a gig a few months ago:
Both have been modified with Gotoh tuners with Hipshot low B's and Audere 18v Preamps. The Bubinga one has a set of SGD Neodymium pickups in it, I plan on outfitting my black cherry Spector and my Ibanez 6 string with the same model pups.
Hope to one day afford an NS-6XL, in the mean time I'm saving for a Euro 6 to replace the Ibanez with.

You pull the drop lever and use the screw to fine tune it when the lever is open.....closed or engaged should be standard tuning. Mike, If I see you today ill show you how to use it. They are a valuable tool!
