I do miss the sense of pride that comes with the grind and hard work that comes with a CD release! Congrats on that BTW!

They dont have a bassist yet so I'll be there for the shows I can.

Two guitarist from my former band(Aechoes - Swimming with Sharks Records) and the drummer from Burning the Masses(Mediaskare Records)

Here the pre-production vids for the

Is anyone using something like this? seems like an easier option then getting a computer for recording stuff.

NAMM Show

Hey everyone!

I'll be leaving for the NAMM Show tomorrow. Will be diving all the basses/guitars for the show down from my office.

There's more NS-2's at this show than any before I think.
Some really AWESOME looking instruments.

And Ultraviolet Gloss is pretty amazing looking on tube quilt.
There's also a matte reddish/orange burst in matte that I LOVE.
That bass has an amazing neck.

Lots of cool things. I'll be posting on Twitter @SpectorCentral and on FaceBook. So come check it out. A bunch of behind the scenes stuff and I'm getting some cool interviews this year.

Cheers! See you guys about this time next week!

I hope to see some of you there!

I used one for awhile. It's good for just catching ideas, but I wouldn't try to cut an album with it. With a computer you can get way better results too. Just my .02

Amazing is right. Maybe I'm just showing my age but I listen to that and can't think of a bass line to put in there.

I see you're in Vancouver. The family an I went to Montreal and Toronto last summer. Vancouver is next on the list of cities to visit.

You mean you pedal guys gotta find a reason to use one ??? JK lol

So far, as pedals goes...I like the sounds of the chorus and flanger. When listening to the chorus demo last night I was thinking that might sound pretty cool during some of our more slow and worshipful songs like, Red Letters by DC Talk. http://youtube.com/watch?v=wCrVwNfbxIM

Yes, I totally agree here. I actually find the stand alone units more complicated than the PC software.

In both of my bands we play standard tuning.

Went to go order my circle K's last night but they're not shipping out again until jan 28th. I'll have to wait a bit but I know it'll be worth it.

I'm going with the 34-35" .166 for my Euro 5LX and the 36-37" .166 for my dingwall combustion. Super stoked on these strings, I'm gonna give setting up both basses a solid try this time around, too.

Can anyone suggest a good 3-5 guitar rack maybe? I'm in the market for a new stand as one of my singles broke recently (luckily after I took the bass off) and id me more comfortable going with a stage/studio rack at this point.
