does the neck look straight?
Have you made truss rod adjustments?

I get buzz if I attack hard, but if I back off its clean. I like a little buzz when I dig in. In fact, I get kinda irritated if a bass doesn't buzz when I play hard.

I asked jimmy about the finish since he did it.. It's actually an old black finish that is blue based.. He took the picture I sent and applied to match.
As always it was a great time at NAMM

Other than a little ding below the bridge - looks more like a clearcoat bubble that popped - it seems to be in excellent condition.
As a big fan of Colin Edwin (Porcupine Tree), I've been GAS'in for the right Spector with P/J config to come along. If it had black hardware instead of gold, I may have walked out with it. (My preference would be a bolt-on P/J, which IIRC Spector will now start offering along with the neck-through!)

There's a lot of high quality of materials and craftsmanship put into them. Where else are you getting a highly figured maple top, 3 piece rock maple neck, Pau Ferro FB and EMG electronics for such a lower price!?!? You have a bass to be proud of for sure! I challenge you to replace the string nut with a brass nut. You won't believe your ears with the change! Also change the TP Jr. With the Trim TP or Aguilar OBP-2/3. I might buy a Legend 5 custom sometime down the road... Congrats and welcome to our family!
