PM me if you're interested. (Free/Gratis, of course, because that's just how we roll around here...). | Am I reading that right off their site? $5 per pick!? Or is that $5 per bag. :S

I mean I had the fridge turned off, multiple circuits anywhere near me off, including the one dimmer switch we have. All that stuff was off at the box. And I still can hear it. I also wanted to make sure I wasn't acting like an antenna, so I left it on a stand and walked away and could still hear it through my monitors from outside my room.
To be sure, the BQC is not as bad, but it is still there. I don't have my treble wide open on the basses either - maybe a little above what is considered "flat" on the TP.
I have CFL's in many rooms, and regular fluorescent lights in the basement, but all those circuits were off and I could still hear it. The fact that it becomes more or less audible as I turn the bass from facing up/down to playing position makes me think it is picking up something and it's not necessarily the power. I have a Furman power conditioner in my rack and everything is going through it.
So for those more knowledgeable about electricity than me (that's everyone), could something on a different circuit than what my rig is plugged into still cause this? The only two things that were still on were a chest freezer two floors down in the basement and the furnace.
I'm going to try with my iPad again tonight if I can get the input to be less noisy on the iRig dongle. |

Shortly after that we had a conversation on his Bach prelude and how he wanted to do the whole thing Cliff Burton style with OD and a wah. Seemed like a cool idea. | Great basses and cool story about Chris. That would be awesome to hear distorted like that.

They may not have enough to use in their namm show basses.
PJ says they're not going to discontinue them and they might get some to sell someday.
That said, I'm looking forward to putting a aguilar OBP 2 in my red NS2a. When that happens, I'll have a NS2a with a HAZ, one with a Tonepump, and one with the OBP 2.
I have a OBP 3 going in my modulus tomorrow! I also have a Kawai bass that might get a Aguilar pre. So, I may be a Aguilar expert in a few weeks.

About a month and a half ago, he just out of the blue sent me the custom abalone truss rod cover that he bought for the bass which I couldn't believe because I know that thing wasn't cheap. Just shows the kind of guy he was.
Sorry, these are the best photos I could take on a rainy day like today.

Plus I'll be moving at least a couple of the Euros in the summer when my US builds are done so I'll live with it for now if I can't figure it out. I like to hash a lot of parts out on my 6LX or Webster, but when it comes time to record stuff I will likely use the NS-5XL anyway until the new ones come. Since the US ones have a very well shielded cavity, I'm hoping they're both good when I get them. | One of our members shielded the cavity cover and it worked in taking away electric interferences. A little bit of copper shielding doesn't cost much... http://www.stewmac.com/Shopping?actn...+tape&x=33&y=8

It's also cool to see the MOP crowns on a pau ferro Coda - I definitely want to took at getting a bahama blue Coda with a matching headstock and that fretboard/inlay combo. | This ultra-violet NS-2 I think would look stunning with an ebony FB, especially with the black background underneath the Ultra-violet.
