Conductive Copper Tape
Get rid of buzz, hum, noise and radio interference in your guitar.
From $4.62
Self-adhesive Shielding Kit
The kit for killing buzz/hum/noise in your guitar.
From $14.98 | I'm not worried about the cost - I'm worried about that fact I am a butcher when it comes to doing things like that LOL.
So just shielding the removable cover would be enough? It seems like there is already some kind of shielding on the Euro cavity cover. I was under the impression most people would do the whole cavity and under the pickups. I know my hand is not neat enough for that kind of work, and I don't solder. |

Love these! | OK I think I got those as well as the nylons. They have "variable" stiffness based on where you grip them. I need to leave very little of the pick exposed to get them rigid enough. That's what I get for joining a band where all the percussive riffing happens on the low B. |

Pretty excited - just paid for the duplication and we should have them in hand next month. Looking at a hopefully coordinated release both digitally and physically in mid-March. Hoping to have a release show somewhere around that time as well. Unfortunately live footage is from before I used my Spectors live. But soon there will be many live shots.
You guys probably remember me complaining about the bass after mastering - this version came out a lot better. It's a dense mix and there's always a compromise, but overall there are enough spots where you can hear the Spector grind that I'm happy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gXq6C0e2eGs

I just started using a pick over the last year or so. Played 95% fingerstyle for 20 years. I now usually only use them while playing along with Pantera or Queensryche on Jammit. The variable thickness doesn't bother me as I don't really need that much precision - my wife and kids cant tell the difference. Quote:

| | | here's a quick test of my euro 4lx through the hartke bass attack pedal. no extra effects added. if you wanna skip some sloppy slap happy noodling, the drums kick in around the 1:02 mark or so. I used a pick for the drum part, so my playing's a bit sloppy there (my picking needs work), and I apologize for the fairly generic improvised distorted bass line, haha. well with all that out of the way, here it is! https://soundcloud.com/slapadabass69...s-demo/s-ueXDy

Front and back of the booklet: | so would you say that you had to compromise the divinity of your spector's tone? alright, that was bad, sorry. but congrats on the release!
really dig the sound too. reminds me a bit of dream theater and annihilator. really cool.

They didn't work for me; I don't play with a pick often, but I play aggressively, and the 1-2mm of exposed tip on the Dava picks was not nearly enough for me. I was hitting the black grip, and that was like a speed bump. I quickly gave those to my guitar-playing kid. Still searching for something better than the good 'ole Tortex picks from Dunlop that I have been using for 20 years...

That would be EXACTLY what I'd be looking for!
