I've run DR regulars since I got my ReBop. Have no issues going over the saddle. Then again, I use a .125 & it feels tight.

Great overall sound as always man - extremely tight and punchy and the guitars, bass and drums seem very well balanced.
Sounds like this one was finger-picked, yes? I think if there's anyway to just squeeze a little high-end growl to the bass without compromising the overall mix, that would be good. But the "meat" of the bass is there and easily audible IMO.
I may have to hire you to mix my solo material. | Thanks for the comment bro!!!
I'm still dissatisfied with my bass tone on this one. Im not sold on the drum tones either. For One I played it with a pick, but I was using like 6 month old string. Ill re track it with probably 3 tracks of bass instead of one. It definitely needs some upper mid growl like you said.
Thanks again for input brotha! Ill post more as I record it. |

Thanks to everyone who's expressed interest in a copy. The band decided it wants to "presell" some copies in advance of March 21st. We're selling them personally to people we know for $10. What I want to do for anyone here that wants one is do that price and I'll cover the shipping. Just PM me if you want one.
Thanks again to everyone for being so supportive - it means a lot. |
