Zitch - very nice top on that one. I'm sure it sounds and feels equally good. What preamp does it have?
BTW - the auto correct function on my iPad wants to change your name to Zilch every time I type it, so here's an apology in advance if I ever forget to correct the auto correct.
Have a great NBD!
No problem, it has the trim pot tone pump

Thx, I saw you lurking around on this one, its actually amber, but not as vivid as the ultra ambers, it really is a stunning bass. Tone is what you expect from a tone pump, great finger tone, still trying to find the right blend for slap, I like the classic fender jazz slap tone.

Thanks, sometimes I think Stuart sneaks over to Europe and builds a few of these himself

Here is a little something i picked up today. My first P/J Spector believe it or not so this is going to be interesting. It has an OBP-1 in it so I am curious how it will sound but have a trim pot tonepump standing by just in case

Nice, looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the pre's. I have used the OBP-2 and 3 but never the 1.

Nice pic! Don't even sweat sending the disc today. I just got all mine out of the way Tuesday since I knew I'd be busy the rest of the week. Enjoy!
GREAT album man! I like it.

Nice! That's the very first Spector I ever played. Small world. Can't wait for the tone report! I know how you just loooove to explain all of the subtle nuances between the low mids, high mids and chewy textures that these basses produce. (little inside joke)
NSD!!! Just arrived today, I'll never be able to afford some of the beauty's you guys have US NS2's and NS4's but this is the next best for me, I think she's stunning, meet Tigress.

Thanks man. Neck feels great on this thing. I am not a fan of thin necks and this one has some mass to it so I really like the feel of it.

Thanks Zitch. This one is just a regular Euro non-LX but with the solid maple wings on it.

Haha, Lee. I just never know what you guys mean but low end mids and high end growl and scooped and punch and ping. I am just terrible with it, LOL.
In case anyone is curious what this thing sounds like, I have to say, I am really impressed. I think this OBP-1 is going to stay for the time being since I really like the tone so far. Here is a quick clip with the Limaguy riff with everything set flat:
amber spectors are the money...i still have to get a forte and one of the 4 string lxtw's with the 35" scale, and i love the finish on the new rebop mm4...the blue black (non-burst finish which i really don't dig) just kills...and seeing it with nicki tedesco holding onto it just makes it that much better
Hey is that a Lefay bass? I've been dying to check one of those out. They have some cool things going on over there, and their vids are funny as hell.

Green Machine! Baby! I can honestly say of any bass I've ever played in the past 20+years I have never been completely satisfied with my tone until I played this bass.

Also I don't like this new Android app. The old one was better imo.

Nice! I heard the sampler on YouTube, killer tunes.
I think sometime in the summer we'll be printing an actual CD, that'll be nice to have something physical.
